MAINSTREET BANK CHARITABLE GIVING PROGRAM

At Mainstreet Bank we are committed to the communities in which we serve. Our employees volunteer in more than 150 various organizations in our community.

In 2008, we have committed 2% of our profits to support non-profits through our Charitable Contributions Program. Mainstreet Bank supports organizations that align within our giving strategies and rely on community contributions, in-kind donations and employee volunteerism.

Contributions

  • Cash (includes securities and real estate at fair market value)
    • Donation
    • Ad
    • Sponsorship
  • In-kind contributions:
    • Products and Services
    • Direct and/or associated cost of employee volunteerism (i.e., paid release time for volunteering)
    • Professional services
    • Computer, printing, other services
    • Donated furniture, office equipment
    • Value of administrative costs charged for contributions program

Eligible Organizations

  • Contributions can be made to charities, projects and organizations generally listed under the IRS Code Section 501 (c) (3) or equivalent charitable purposes.

Considerations should be submitted in writing, along with the Charitable Contributions Request Form to:

  • Due to the significant volume of contribution requests the Bank receives, please allow 30-45 days for review and response.
  • Mainstreet Bank reserves the right to alter, suspend, change, or terminate the Charitable Contributions Program or any part of it, at any time.
